Mrs. Mary Fitzhugh and Mrs. Nellie Andes of Sperry-tfllle were in Charlottesville recently and received checkups at the University Hospital. They were accompanied by Mis. Fitzhugh’s daughter Mr-. Gladys O’Grady of New York. Mrs. Carolyn Harrison and family of Washington, D. C. were Sunday guests of Mrs. Fannie Jackson in Sperryville. Mrs. Jackson is now visiting relatives in Washington, D. C.
The Scrabble Graded School P. f.A. objective is to have a well informed person to come in and speak to the group on a spekial topic of interest and importance to the group. The P rogram Committee has been able to get people from many different fields to come in and speak. On October 13, Mr. Charles (Pete) F.stes, the Sheriff of Rappahannock County, was the guest speaker. His topic was Satet y.
