juice. Do NOT use ammonia with a chlorine bleach. When using any solvent except water, you should work in a well-ventilated room or out of doors. Do not breathe solvent vapors. Solvent vapors, being heavier than air, tend to settle unless there is forced ventilation. For this reason, do not allow small children to play on the floor in a room where solvents are being used. Use only a small quantity of solvent at a time, and keep the bottle covered tightly when not in use. If you spill solvent on your skin, wash it off immediately. When using flammable solvents, do not use near open flames, including pilot lights on gas equipment. Never use flammable solvents in a washing machine and never put articles dampened with a flammable solvent in a dryer.
Hints - Separate left-over cooked poultry, broth, stuffing and gravy before storing in the refrigerator. Use within 1 or 2 days, urges the U. S. Department of Agriculture. To store longer, freeze it. Frozen poultry should be kept solidly frozen until time to thaw, states the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Cook promptly after thawing.
County News
The fall 4-H County Council meeting will be held on Saturday, November 20th, at 9:30 a.m. at the Washington Elementary School. County Council officers for 1906 will be elected, and officer training will be conducted. All 4-H officers are urged to attend this county meeting.
