Letter To Editor
I have read all of the editorials that have been placed in the Rappahannock Newscorv cerning the stone quarry and the dump trucks. I find Mr. Harris's and Mrs. Bruce’s letters to the editor most repulsive, austere, and insolent. I would much rather see a dump truck speeding than to see a bus loaded with children speeding. I feel sure that the Incident which occurred in April, '65 that Mrs. Bruce speaks of, was not done intentionally. I also feel that this tragic accident is being paid for. “Let’s not reheat old soup!" I think Mr. Harris has a slight case of amnesia when he speaks of the stone quarry. He is forgetting that if it were not for stone quarries, he would-be riding on a dirt road with even more dust.
