Saturday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas C. Perkins were Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Walker and son Lindsay, Jr. of Mineral. Mrs. L. J. Kilby and son of Culpeper were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Poe and family. Mrs. Stella Landrum of Decatur, Ga. is the houseguest of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Leonard. Mr. Leonard attended the National Commander’s dinner of the American Legion which was held November 13 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D. C. Mr. Leonard had as his guests for the annual dinner of the Washington Society of Engineers held last night at the Mayflower, Col. John Williams, Capt. Glen Lathrop, Jr., Capt. L. B. Stuart and Wayne Hayes. The Rev. Louis Broughman of Marshall was a visitor Monday of the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Kindred. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Priest spent Friday in Winchester. Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Curtis had as their guests overnight Saturday and on Sunday Lee Reed and U. M. Reed of Alexandria. Mrs. Sally Davis, who spent the summer with her son in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Curtis, is spending the winter months in Orlean with Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Curtis. Sunday the Aubrey Curtis family visited the Carlton Curtis family and Mrs. Davis. Mrs. Edith Hackley spent Friday at Seven Corners. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Kendall and son Richard of Warrenton were Sunday guests of Mrs. Cliff Green.
