Corporal Jordan entered the Marines after his graduation from high school. He received his training at Parris Island, South Carolina, and CampLeJeune, North Carolina. Surviving besides his parents are two sisters, Karen and Anita; his paternal grandfather, Edward L. Jordan formerly of Amissville and now a patient at the VA Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Maude Baltimore of Happy Creek; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Cpl. Jordan were held November 11 from the Shiloh Baptist Church
