One day recently “Copper", the well loved cocker spaniel belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Rees of Reescroft, had an unfortunate encounter with a skunk. An emergency call was given to Clyde Jenk’ins, the Rees' good neighbor, who responded £tnd rendered the necessary assistance and repair to damaged dignity. The sad aftermath to this kindly deed was upon Mr. Jenkin’s return home, his own dog “Susie" utterly rejected him, showing her distaste by retiring to her box in great displeasure. It is hoped that friendly relations will soon be resumed by all concerned.
