HODGE
Theodore Edwin Hodge of Fredericksburg, formerly of Amissville, was ordained into the Baptist Ministry on Thursday, December 30 at the Salem Baptist Church, Spotsylvania County, Fredericksburg. He is the son of the Rev. and Mrs. John B. Hodge. Mr. Hodge was pastor of-'Ami88ville and Forest Grove Baptist Churches for a number of years. The ordination ceremony was delivered by the Rev. William B. Denson, secretary of Evangelism and missibns of the General Board of Virginia Baptists, and Dr. Robert F. Caverlee, pastor emeritus of Fredericksburg Baptist Church delivered the charge. Teddy’s father and grandfather participated in the cere mony. His grandfather, the Rev. T. V. Witter of Colonial Beach, made the prayer of ordination. Mr. Hodge presented the certificate of ordination to his son. Teddy i§ a graduate of Culpeper County High School and a junior at Carson-Newman College. He is serving as pastor of Zion Btpttot Church at ClinchpotuJte plan^ to enter the sejrnnaryvta-sttldy for the ministry after graduation from college.
