the left thighj A second passen ger was uninjured. All were taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital for examination by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. James Arthur Freeman ot Washington was charged with reckless driving after being involved In a one-car accident on December 22. The crash occurred on Route 211 just out of the Town of Washington.
Trooper M. H. Ashley reported that Freeman was driving west In a 1958 Ford and lost control of the vehicle. He struck a fence and highway sign and came to rest in a field. Freeman said he swerved to the left of the road to avoid striking a dog and lost control of his car. On the 22nd of December on Route 522 three miles south of Flint Hill an auto and a Caterpillar pan collided at the road construction site. Mrs. Dorothy Clater of Washington operating a 56 Chevrolet owned by Piedmont Chevrolet of Culpeper and 59 Caterpillar DW21 pan ran together. There were no injuries and the car was damaged to the extend of $200. The pan owned by Branch Associate Construction Company of Roanoke was operated by Riply Lee Shell of Stephens City. No charges were made. Trooper M. H. Ashley investigated the accident.
