sKy, Jr. of Alexandria over turned on Route 729 two and a half miles south of Ben Venue. Dombrowsky, operating a 58 Volkswagen, ran off tb$ right of the road, crossed back to the left side, struck a bank and turned over. The vehicle was a total loss, said Tfooper Buntin. The driver was not injured. He was charged with reckless driving. On Route 522 two miles east of Woodville, William Elvans Haines of Luray sustained minor injuries when his vehicle crashed into an embankment. According to Trooper Buntin, Haines was operating a 65 BUick which ran off the shoulder of the road for 30 yards, crossed the highway to the left and plowed down the bank for an' additional 60 yards before stopping. Haines sustained lacerations of the nose and mouth. He was charged with reckless driving. Three vehicles were involved in a crash on Monday, December 27 on Route 211 in front of the local high school. Trooper K. L. Miller, who investigated the collision, said Jimmy Roberison Jenkins of Sperryville, operating a 55 Chevrolet was going south when he struck two oncoming vehicles. One was a 61 Corvair operated - by James Andrew Yeager of Arlington and the second was a Mack tractor-trailer owned by Raefojfd Trucking Co. of Sanford, N. C. and operated by Ralph Lee Blakely, also of Sanford. The Jenkins car veered across the road into the north bound lane, striking the left side of the Corvair, continued on and struck the tandem wheels of the trailer. The Chevrolet then careened into the left embankment of the highway. Jenkins was charged with reckless driving, said

Jenxins sustained lacerations and abrasions of the head and body. A passenger in the Jenkins car, Billy Thomas, als» of Sperryville, sustained lacerations and abrasions of the face and chest. They were taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Rappahannock Rescue Squad where they were treated and released. On December 29 a single vehicle crash resulted in a charge of reckless driving for the operator. The accident occurred on Route 211 a mile and a half west of Sperryville, According to Trooper Paul P. Dicks, Stephen Michael Pratt of Arlington was driving a 59 Borg-vorg station wagon travelling east when he ran off the left of the highway on the curve in front of DariDelite. When Pratt attempted to get the vehicle back on the pavement it over turned. Pratt was not injured. He was charged with reckless driving, said Mr. Dicks.
