Forest tree seedlings are being lifted and packaged for ship* ment to Virginia landowners at the Virginia Division of Forest* ry’s nursery at Providence Forge. These seedlings are raised by the State and sold at cost to landowners who wish to reforest cutover woodlands or abandoned fields. This year, 44% million seedlings are available - which is more than last year when a record number were planted in Virginia. Seedlings can be ordered through any agent of the Virginia Division of Forestry or from the headquarters in Charlottesville.
