Graduates Sermon
Scheduled Sunday
The Baccalaureate Sermon for the graduating class of Rappahannock County High School will be delivered by the Rev. James Harrison, Methodist Minister of the Little Fork Charge which includes the Amissville Methodist Church. The service will be conducted in the auditorium of the school on Sunday, June 5 and begins at 8p.m. Following the message, the Rappahannock County Home Demonstration Clubs will be hostesses- for refreshments and fellowship.
Sperryville Natives Meet in Germany
T/Sgt. James E. Swindler who is serving with the U. S. Air Force in Ankara, Turkey at the American Embassy, recently spent a week in Germany on business. While there he arranged to meetwith Robert Lewis who is a civilian employee with the Air Force in Weisbaden, Germany. Both men are natives of Sperryville.! Mr. Lewis is the son of Mrs.! Virginia Lewis, who retired after 20 years of service with the Air Force and accepted a civilian position. Sgt. Swindler is the son of Mr. and Mrs.j Lee Swindler. I
