(c) It shall be unlawful to hunt deer with dogs in all counties west of the Blue Ridge Mountains and in the counties of Amherst West of U.S. Route 29, Bedford, Campbell west of Southern Railroad, Fairfax, Franklin, Henry, Loudoun, Nelson west of Route 161, Patrick and Pittsylvania west of Southern Railroad.

1.1 DEER - BAG LIMITS: The lawful bag limit for deer shall be one buck a license year, statewide, with the following execptions:

(a) One a license year, either sex the first day, in the counties of Albemarle, Alleghany, Amherst west of U.S. Route 29, Augusta, Bath, Bedford, Bland, Botetourt, ' Carroll, Clarke, Craig, Culpeper, Dickenson, Fairfax, Fauquier, Floyd, Franklin,i Frederick, Giles, Grayson, Greene, Halifax, Henry, Highland, Lee, Loudoun* Louisa, Madison, Nelson west of Rte. 151, Orange, Page, Patrick, Pittsylvania east of Southern Railroad, Prince William, Pulaski, Rappahannock, Roanoke, Rockbridge, Rockingham, Russell, Scott, Shenandoah, Smyth, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Tazewell, Warren, Washington, Wise south of alternate Route 58 and Wythe, and the Quantico Marine Reservation.

(b) One a day, two a license year, bucks only, in the counties of Accomack, Amelia, Amherst east of UJS. Route 29, Appomattox, Brunswick, Buckingham, Campbell, Charles City, Charlotte, Chesterfield, Cumberland, Dinwiddle, Fluvanna, Gloucester, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, James City, King William, Lunenburg, Mathews, Mecklenberg, Middlesex, Nelson east of Route 151, New Kent, Nottoway, Pittsylvania west of Southern Railroad, Powhatan, Prince Edward, Prince George and York, and in the cities of Hampton and Newport News.
