To Readers..
For the first time in the five years that I have been associated with this paper, Sarah Latham, Editor, will be absent on three working days, Thursday and Friday, June 2 and 3 and on Monday, June 6. This is due to the happy occasion of her daughter, Nancy graduating from Berea College, Berea, Kentucky. Sarah will leave today, so that means all the pictures she takes the latter part of the week and weekend will not be taken. Front page news stories . which she digs up Mondays will remain unreported. During the year, she gives untold free space and effort to publicizing through pictures and stories the fire companies activities, church benefits, house tours, civic organizations and charitable affairs.
