and Mrs. Charles May and family. Sgt. and Mrs. David Streagle and daughter, who have been visiting Mrs. Sarah Latham and family were visitors from Wednesday until Friday of last week with Mr. and Mrs. James Hamilton Williams and family in Dahlgren and Mrs. M. B. Streagle and son George in Gloucester. Friday evening the Streagles and Mrs. Latham and Susan were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and son Billy. Sgt. Streagle returned to his post at Parris Island S. C. on Sunday. Mrs. Streagle and Shannon remained for a longer visit with Mrs. Latham. Mrs. Sarah Latham, accompanied by Mrs. Thomas Fin^ cham of Arlington and Mrs. David Streagle of Beaufort, S. C., left today for Berea, Ky. where they will attend the commencement exercises Sunday at Berea College. Miss Nancy Latham is a member of the graduating class. They will return home Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest and children Robert and Lisa were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Clements in Alexandria.

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Bywaters and family and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bywaters and family of Flint Hill were Sunday guests of Mr.andMrs. Lloyd Bywaters. Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Mason Hitt were Mrs. Mary Beach and children Denny and Kevin of Bealeton.

Clark on Sunday at a lawn picnic were Mr. and Mrs. Bob Geiger and four children and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Ackley and three children, all of Annandale. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers with Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank, Jr. of Sperryville, Mrs. Dorothy N. Corder and Charles Corder of Huntly visited Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers and family at Stephens City. Louis Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller, left last Thursday to report at Norfolk Navy Base for assignment of duty.

Miss Irene Keyser visited from Saturday until Monday at the home of her sister Mrs. Kent Woolfolk in Louisa. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller visited Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell in Madison Heights Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard attended the graduation Sunday of their daughter Miss jean Lillard from Madison College in Harrisonburg.
