Bridal Shower for Miss Millie Dodson

Miss Barbara Pullen of Amissville was hostess at a Bridal Shower in honor of Miss Millie Dodson whose marriage to Joe Dickens of Culpeper will take place June 25. The party was held at the Baptist Church Educational Building in Washington, Friday, May 27. Those attending included Mrs. C. B. Palmer, Mrs. L. J. Turner, Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. George Davis, Mrs. Milton Hawkins, Mrs. Jake Smoot, Mrs. Roy Clatterbuck, Mrs. Irving Sisk, Mrs. Joan Woodard, Mrs. Anna Dodson, Mrs. Ollie Dodson, Mrs. Addie Keyser. Miss Shelia Dodson, Miss Mary Miller Wood and Miss Carolyn Turner, all of Washington, Mrs. J. K. Dickens of Culpeper, Mrs. Moffett Pullen and Mrs. Wade Pullen of Flint Hill, Miss Jean Sisk of Sperryville and Mrs. Paul Coates of Madison. Miss Dodson received many assorted gifts from those present and others unable to attend.
