Council In Colorado
The National. Extension Homemakers Council will be held the week of August 14-17 at Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, Colo. Virginia clubs anticipate a large attendance from the state and in order to do this plans must be made well in advance of the council dates. Prince William County clubs are working to secure a bus and invite other organizations from the area to help make up the bus load. Cost of the trip is $136.50 (4 to a room) or $154.25 (2 to a room). This includes bus and 7 nights lodging. Other expenses will be meals enroute and spending money. Reservations in the amount of $38.40 must be made with the University by June 30. Club members or their family or friends may also go at the above rates. Tentative plans are for the bus to leave Arlington about 5:45 a.m. on August 11, Jo travel by way of Fairfax, Manassas, Charlottes vil)Je, Waynesboro, Lexington, Rdfcnoke to Bristol. There will be little sightseeing going to the convention, but on leaving Ft.
Ridge Avenue and visited friends in town. Guy Lillard of Clermont, Fla. was a visitor of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers Tuesday night and visited other relatives and friends in the county.
