Twelve jurors, all male, failed to reach a verdict in a manslaughter trial held Friday in Rappahannock County Circuit Court. William Edward Sisk of Manassas, a former Rappahannock resident, was tried on one of three like charges which resulted after a triple fatality traffic collision in April on Route 211 near Masales Comer. Charges were placed by investigating officer Trooper J. B. Willis. The case Friday concerned Mark Albert Dentz, an infant whose father of Alexandria was also fatally injured. The trial is rescheduled for July 13. Members of the jury were Randall Updike, foreman, Floyd Apperson, A. H. Buckner, Jr., Robert Clatterbuck, Robert G. Dennis, Norman Grimsley, Wayne L. Hayes, L. H. Jenkins, Oscar Jenkins, Robert Mundy, Robert Nethers and Aubrey North. Lynn Lucas of Luray was the attorney for the defense. Commonwealth's Attorney George H. Davis, Jr. acted for the Commonwealth and Judge R. V. Snead was on the bench.
