: Sixty-five members of Abi5 gall Hartman Rice Chapter of ithe DAR, District of Columbia Jand their guests held a lunch* eon at Avon Hall, Washington, jVa. on Saturday, June 18.Mr& t Stephen Bunitsky, president, led Ae Washington Chapter on what she said was one of the most successful events they have had. Everyone enjoyed their visit to beautiful Rappahannock, and the day was a perfect one for all. .Many went on drives around the county before returning home. In addition to the luncheon, a silent auction added many dollars to their headquarters fund. The Carrigans, as hosts, provided guided tours of Avon Hall where many noted interesting historic items throughout the roomy mansion.
