Miss Landra Dennis, accompanied by James West of Culpeper, was in Washington, D. C. last Wednesday to visit with her cousin, Miss Phyllis Luttrell of Seattle, Washington, who was enroute to Europe. Miss Luttrell, with a group of students from Washingt6n state, spent two days at George Washington University before leaving for a sixweek tour of Europe. Guests Saturday of Mrs. C. H. Sunday Mrs. Dennis, Miss Landra Dennis and Mrs. Ethel Cooksey, accompanied by Mrs. Russell Luttrell of Culpeper, attended the piano recital of the students of Miss Evelyn Guinn held at the theatre in Culpeper. Mrs. D.-D. Miller, Jr. and children Dick and Peggy of McLean were visitors Monday of Mrs. C. M. M. Green and were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Green and family. Tuesday they were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. William Britton in Front Royal before returning home. Mrs. C. M.M. Green is spend ing several days with Mrs. Odessa Ficklin. Mrs. J. L. Walter is spending this week with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. andMr% Leland Walter in Culpeper. Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Settle and family were Mr. and Mrs. R. E.
