Floyd M. Utz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Utz of Castleton has enlisted in the United States Air Force. He is taking his basic training at Lackland Field Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. He is a 1966 graduate of Culpeper County High School.
Jonas R. Jenkins Jr., 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonas R. Jenkins, Washington, Va., was promoted to Army Specialist five June 1 in Germany where he is serving with the 84th Engineer Company, 2nd Armored Cavalry. Jenkins entered the Army in April 1964 and completed basic training at Fort Polk, La. He is a 1961 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
Virginia Methodist Conference in Norfolk last week. Miss Phoebe Green of Williamsburg visited in the community last week. Mrs. Richie Colvin is a patient in Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton. The Rev. James Harrison attended the Virginia Methodist Conference in Norfolk last week. Also attending Wed nesday and Thursday were Mrs. Harrison, Mrs. L. B. Stuart and Mrs. Thomas O’Halloran.
