Minor Injuries Result
In Traffic Crashes
Two vehicles collided Tuesday on Route 522 a mile north of Flint Hill and occupants sustained minor injuries. A 51 Chevrolet truck operated by Vernon Lee Ramey of Flint Hill and owned by Foster Brothers of that village and a 64 Plymouth owned and operated by the Rev. James B. Grimmer, also of Flint Hill were involved. According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, both vehicles were heading south when Ramey made a left turn into a field and was struck in the left front by the Grimmer car. The operator of the truck, Vernon Lee Ramey, was charged with failing to give proper signals. Mr. Grimmer sustained a bruised knee. Henry Jenkins and Lemuel Frazier, both riding oil the back of the truck, sustained lacerated forehead and abrasions of both arms and back, respectively. Ramey had lacerations of the head and abrasions of the arms. Jenkins and Ramey were taken to Warren Memorial Hospital,1 Front Royal by private car and were treated and released.
Damage to the truck was estimated at $25 and to the Plymouth $600. Damage to Foster Brothers fence was estimated at $10. A single vehicle crash occurred in Rappahannock Saturday night on Route 522 north of Flint Hill, resulting in a
