Additional prize winners at Amissville carnival held the middle* of August which have not been announced previously are: Mrs. C. J. Moss, thermos Mrs. . Ronnie Poe, glasses; Mrs. John Poe, bathroom scales; Edward Lawrence, oil lamp; Russ Spicer, chair; Jessie Walther, hamper; Mrs. Edith Hackley, case peas; Reid Burke, picnic basket; Miss Lucille Riley, lantern; Dean Lawrence, percolator; Mrs. Hester Poe, pressure cooker and radio; Jack Atkins, tray set; Mrs. Jesse Settle, doll and chair; all are from Amiss ville. Also Margaret Bennett, lamg Charles Dodson, paint sprayer both of Culpeper; Mrs. Roy Mills of Rixeyville, wall plaque and sprinkler. The standing of the young ladies in the queen contest at the carnival were as follows: Ann Holmes, first; runners up Sharon Suter, Aletta Beebe and Virginia Bailey. Mrs. Alice Hitt, chairman of the contest expressed appreciation to the girls for their participation and to all who contributed or assisted in the contest.
