Flint Hill News
On Sunday, August 14, the Rev* and Mrs. Ray Williams drove to Dover, Delaware to visit the Rev. and Mrs. Dan Carr. Tuesday they went down the Eastern Shore and crossed die Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel into Norfolk where they visited Mrs. Williams' aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Beatty and other relatives. They returned home on Wednesday.
Last Sunday evening the Rev. and Mrs. Ray Williams had a Fellowship in their home for the young people of the Flint Hill and Washington Baptist Churches. The group made a churn of ice cream. Cake and cokes were also served. Mr. and Mrs. Warren A. McConchie and son Craig of Arlington were week-end guests of Mrs. McConchie*s mother Mrs. Mary Cleverley. Troup 111, Pioneer Scouts, of Arlington, a group of 20 plus leaders, had a three day campout over the week-end on Little Red Farm on the Jordan River.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Spalding, Jr. of Morristown, N. J. were week-end guests of Mrs. F. W. Spalding and Visited Mr. Spalding at the Warren Memorial Hospital. Miss Jean Lillard retained early this week from South Hero, Vermont where she serv ed this summer as counsellor at Camp Hochelago. Visitors last Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Cook were Mr. and Mrs. Roy T. Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. Thad A mold and chit dren Philip and Susie of Anderson, S. C. Mr. and Mrs. John Samuel Moore of Rockville, Md. and Mr. and Mrs.
