Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elphinstone returned to Washington, D. C. Saturday after spend ing a week at their summer home here. The latter’s father Andrew L. Williams returned to Washington with them for a week’s visit. Recent dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Elphin stone were Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Shaerer and son Allen of McLean, Andrew L. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. William Underwood, the Misses Gayle and Sylvia Marcus, all of Strasburg.
Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. David Williams and sons were Mrs. Martha Everhart and daughter of Gettysburg, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frye of Winchester, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Silek of Granite City. Illinois and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jenkins of Strasburg. Approximately 65 adults and children of the Chester Gap Baptist Mission Sunday School and Daily Vacation Bible School, including the Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Rasberry, enjoyed a picnic at Elizabeth Furnace Saturday afternoon.
