In Dental Clinic
There has not been an established practicing dentist in Rappahannock County for many years, and as a result numerous children in the county have never been to a dentist. This problem should be of vital concern to every citizen. To meet this need, a Dental Health committee was organized here, and is composed of the principals of the schools, a member of the County Health Department and of the Welfare Department in addition to a representative of a private foundation. They have worked to secure this service for the dentally indigent elementary school children of the county, and have established a dental clinic which is open several days each week.
