Mrs. E. O. Willis
A funeral service was held Sunday, January 15 for Mrs. Lelia Spots wood Willis, 94, of Culpeper, at Culpeper Baptist Church officiated by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Mrs. Willis died Friday, January 13, 1967, at her residence. She was the widow of Edgar O. Willis and daughter of the late Alexander D. and Lucy Gordon Spotswood. She is survived by one stepson, E. O. Willis, Jr. of Culpeper, and three step-daughters, Mrs. Florence H. White of Culpeper, Mrs. H. B. Winfrey of Woodville and 'Mrs. Dillard Glenn of Morattico. Pallbearers were Gordon Willis, Jr., E. O. Willis, III, David Partington, Andrew ; Robeson, W. T. Bareford, Eugene A. Tinsley, John Holden and John Willis.
Mrs. Henry Wells
Mrs. Elizabeth Green Wells, 96, of Huntly, died Friday night, January 13, 1967, at her home. She was the widow of Henry Wells. She was born Oct. 14, 1870 in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Bonnie and Elvirin Craig Green. Surviving are one foster daughter, Mrs. Jean Flynn of Warrenton; one grandchild, a niece and three great nieces. A graveside service was held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Wells family cemetery officiated by the Rev. T. L. Proctor.
