Sales Increase
The Division of Motor Vehicles reports that there has been an increase of seven and one half per cent in the number of licenses sold as of the eighth day of the 1967 renewal period compared with the same period last year. The first rush is over and this is a good time for vehicle owners to come in and get their tags to avoid any Last minute inconvenience. The Division at this time can help you get your license quickly. For those persons who have the insurance section of the application filled out and have either cash or completed check, only seconds are required to issue the plates. The last minute rush just before April 15 could overtax facilities throughout the state and inconvenience those who have waited to purchase their tags. The Division has mailed all license applications and registration cards to vehicle owners of record. If you have not received your 1967 application to buy tags, you should immediately get in touch with the Division and make arrangements to receive your application.
