On Friday the Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Mr. Brunning from his home At Crest Hill to the Warren Memorial Hospital. Early Sunday morning the Fire Company was called to the Milan house in town and extinguished a fire. On Tuesday the Squad took W. C. Campbell from his home in Washington to Winchester Memorial Hospital. Rappahannock Rescue Squad answered a call to Mr. Vernon Farm on Friday but emergency services were not needed.
On Monday Mrs. Claire Pauze was taken to the University of Virginia Hospital, from her home in Woodville. The Chester Gap Fire Company responded to a grass fire in Blue Ridge Estates Sunday afternoon. They also answered an alarm to a vehicle on fire in Blue Ridge Estates the same day. The Chester Gap Rescue Squad took Will Smith Mahoney to Warren Memorial Hospital last week. Amissville Fire Company re sponded to a brush fire Saturday at the property of Mrs. Maggie Riley and Monday answered a call to a brush fire at the Sheffield property near Viewtown. They werecalledto a dump fire near Amissville last Thursday. Amissville Res cue Squad took Charles Sours from his home to Winchester Memorial Hospital Monday.
