Sperryville Fire Company [ went to a fire'Thursday morning on the Lane property at a house occupied at the time by Mr. and mrs. James Yates. The Flint Hill Rescue Squad took H. C. Pullen to Warren Memorial Hospital last Wednesday. On Friday Ella Mae Steele was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital. On Saturday night two accident victims Freddie Richburg and Emma Gene Cooper were taken to the Front Royal Hospital. On Monday Clarence Jones was brought to his home in Flint Hill from the Warren Memorial Hospital. The Rappahannock Rescue Squad took two victims from the accident scene to Warren Memorial Hospital. Thursday Amissville Fire Company answered an alarm to a fire at Clifford Cooke’s where lightning had struck a tree. Tuesday they responded to a fire at the Spillman prop erty. Sunday the Amissville Rescue Squad answered a call to the home of Lewis Butler and took a member of the family to Winchester Memorial Hospital.
