After attending St. Margaret’s School in Tappahannock, she went to Mary Washington College from which she graduated with a B.A. degree. She received her A.B. degree in Library Science from the College of William and Mary. While in college Mrs. Moffett was on the staff of the English magazine, a member of the English Majors Club and a member of the Y.W.C.A. Mrs. Moffett 'and her husband William F. Moffett, Jr. have three children, Frank, now serving in the U. S. Navy, |Page, a student at the Unijversity of Virginia and CarIter, a student at R.C.H.S. They reside in Washington, Va. At R.C.H.S. Mrs. Moffett is the Librarian. Her interests include reading, singing and playing the piano.
