Miss Mary Ann James,j daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norvel C. James of Viewtown became the bride of Allen Edward Blair, Jr. on Saturday, April 8, 1907 at Amissville Baptist Church. Mr. Blair is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Blair Sr., also of Viewtown.

The Rev. Charles Kindred performed the ceremony at

three o’clock in the after-j noon before an altar decoratn ed with arrangem ents of mix-J ed white flowers. Miss Landra Dennis presented a program of wedding music, including the traditions marches. The bride was given in marriage by her brother Julian James of Culpeper. She wore a street length sheath dress of white embossed taffeta and matching redingote. Hershort veil fell from a crown of seed pearls and ^ crystals and she carried a nosegay of white rosebuds and baby’s breath. Miss Helen James of Charlottesville was maid of honor for her sister. Her short gown was of pink and white lace and she wore veiled open crown white hat. Her flowers were pink carnations and baby’s breath. Charlie Edwards o 1 Bethesda, Md. was best man for Mr. Blair. Birth Announced

Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Warren of Charlotte, N. C. are the parents of a daughter born April 10, 1967 in a hospital there. Grandparents of the baby are Mr. and Mrs W. H. Lyne of Washington, Va. Though the little girl had not been named when we talked to the beaming grandfather, he had already nicknamed her “Bunny".

Mr. and Mrs. Pratt Brown of Culpeper announce the birth of a son, Michael Pratt, on April 7, 1967 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Carter White of Slate Mills are the maternal grandparents of the baby. Mr. and Mrs. John Moffett Brown of Culpeper are the paternal grandparents.
