A reception followed in the social hall of the church. After the bride and bridegroom cut the traditional tiered wedding cake, it was servpd by Mrs. Egbert Woodward of Amissville, aunt of the bride. Punch was served by Mrs. William James of Charlottesville, sister-in-law of the bride. For traveling the bride chose a green and tan wool suit with brown accessories and a corsage of cymbidium orchids. After a trip the couple will make their home in Culpeper.

(Continued from Page 1) grader at Sperryville Elementary School. Placing second in this group was Jeannie St. Clair of Amiss ville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul St. Clair. She was sponsored by Rappahannock News, Washington, and is in the fifth grade at Washington Elementary School. Betsy Williams, daughter of Col. and Mrs. John H. Williams of Amissville, placed third. Attending Washington Elementary School, she is in the sixth grade. Her sponsor was Mrs. W. R.Williamson, Oak Forest Garden, Woodville.
Winners in the 4 through 7 age group were Patsy Vest first and Diedre and Karen Welch in second and third place. Patsy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Vest of Woodville and Diedre and Karen are twin daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Welch Flint Hill. They were sponsored by Holly House Restaurant, Culpeper and Russell Bros., Flint Hill. Judges for the pageant were Mrs. Ellie Irwin, a professional model of Washington, D. C. and Woodville; Mrs. Trudy Mathews ofFront Royal, a civic leader; R. M. Dodson, Lur.ay, a Virginia State Police, Philip Irwin of Woodville and Washington, D.C., on the Voice of America radio broadcast. Red Shipley of the Big K radio station, Warrenton, was emcee for the pageant and music was provided by T. J. Pillar at the piano.
