Mrs. Bessie Hitt

Mrs. Bessie Jane Hitt of Viewtown died April 12, 1967 in a Sperryville nursing home. She was the wife of the late William Presley Hitt of Amis& ville; the daughter of the late Henry Hitt and Sarah Catherine Utzof Rappahannock. Mrs Hitt was 85, and a member of the Dunkard Church at Eggbronsville.

She is survived by one brother, John F. Hitt of Amissville.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the family cemetery, Amiss ville with the Rev. Charles Kindred officiating.

Service News

Roger Lee Stover of Amissville left Sunday for Fort Bragg, N. C. where he will undergo basic training with the U. S. Army Reserve. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Stover.
