Two Sustain Injuries
In Traffic Crash
Two people were injured Sunday afternoon in a collision involving three vehicles on Route 211 between Washington and Sperryville. A chain reaction occurred when a car slow ed to make a right turn into Pine Knott Inn. The next vehicle braked sharply and was struck in the rear by another one which was in turn struck in the rear by still another car in the line of traffic. According to Trooper W. A. Buntin, the three vehicles involved were a 65 Mercury own ed and operated by Hector Sheppard of Washington, D.C.; struck by a 66 MG owned and operated by Cecil Kenneth Raybufn of Fort Worth, Texas; struck by a 66 Chevrolet owned and operated by Harold Lee Jensen of Falls Church. Both Rayburn and Jen sen were charged with following too closely, said the officer.
