Warren Garden Club Fashion Show Set
Mrs. Carl Thompson of Front Royal has announced that tickets for the Garden Club of Warren County Fashion Show and Tea, scheduled for Saturday, April 29, are now on sale. The show, which will feature fashions from Weavers, Inc., is being held at the E. Wilson Morrison Elementary School, Front Royal at 2:30 p. m. In lieu of the annual tour of homes and gardens during Historic Garden Week, members of the Garden Club of Warren County are presenting the fashion show. Tickets may be purchased from Mrs. Thompson, Historic Garden Week Chairman or from Mrs. Carl Parrish, Mrs. Walter Ferrell, the Chamber of Commerce office or Weavers store They may also be purchased at the door. Tea will be served following the show. Chairman of the Tea is Mrs. J. N. Major, Jr. Proceeds derived from this event go toward the restoration of grounds and gardens of historic Virginia shrines of national importance. "
