j Supper at Ami&sville
An old Virginia Mam and chicken supper will be served Saturday, May 6 at the social hall of Amissville Methodist Church beginning at 5 p.m. In addition to the ham and chicken, the menu will include parsley potatoes, green beans, corn pudding, cole slaw, beverage, homemade hot biscuits and homemade pie. The supper is $2,00 for adults and $1.00 for children, and proceeds will go toward the church kitchen fund. The public is invited.
Sue Slaughter Group
The Sue Slaughter Group of Shiloh Baptist Association will meet Thursday evening, April 27 at Washington Baptist Churc. The meeting begins at 7:30 p. m.
Refugee Clothing Drive
The M.Y.F. of Amissville Methodist Church is having a clothing and blanket drive for refugees in Vietnam, Africa and other countries. Contributions for this may be brought to the Amissville Methodist Church Saturday, May 6 from 1 to 3 p.m.
