Alan B. Cropp
A funeral service was held Wednesday at the graveside in Culpeper Masonic Cemetery for Alan Bernard Cropp, 67, a former Culpeper resident. The Rev. Hugh Winston officiated.
Mr. Cropp, who died of a heart attack in King's Daughters Hospital in Staunton April 17, 1967, had been living in Staunton for some time. His survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gary P. Cockran of Arlington, one son, Alan B. Cropp, Jr., a U. S. Marine stationed at CampLeJeune, N. C., and one sister, Mrs. Lloyd Poe of Amissville. The son of the late Norvell and Elizabeth Rollins Cropp of Rappahannock County, Mr. Cropp was a retired member of the Virginia A.B.C. Board. Pallbearers were Jessie Yowell, William Mitchell, George P. Beard, E, Murphy Hoffman, D. J. Kilby and W. G. Morris, Jr.
