Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wines and daughter Debbie of Manassas visited in the community on Sunday afternoon. Mrs. Bertha North was the guest of honor at a birthday dinner Sunday in the home of her daughter Mrs. Page Henson and Mr. Henson at Riverton. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock and family, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson North and family, Mrs. Mary Williams and daughter Norma Jean, all of Chester Gap. The Chester Gap fire truck was called to the home of Dick Stewart on the subdivision last Thursday for a fire which started around the flue. The fire was quickly brought under control but did considerable damage.
