Driver Apprehended
Thomas William Graves of Richmond operating a 1965 Plymouth on Route 522 Sunday afternoon was struck by another auto which fled the scene. On Monday Clarence Elmer Weakley of Culpeper was apprehended and charged with hit and run and reckless driving, according to investigat-Z officer J. B. Willis. ***The Weakley vehicle, also a 65 Plymouth, started to pass f Graves and the right side of the Weakley car struck the left of the Graves auto, turning both around in the road. Damage to each vehicle was estimated at $500. Although Weakley’s wife and three children were passengers in the car no injuries resulted.
H. Lee Campbell of McLean struck a deer on Route 211 three miles west of Sperryville Wednesday morning. Damage to the 68 Ford owned by Hertz was estimated at $400 by investigating officer Troop er R. M. Dodson.
