Mrs. Flossie Brown
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Flossie Butler Brown 75, of Boston, who died Tuesday, April 30,1968 at her residence. The Rev. John McKay officiated and burial was in Fairview Cemetery. She was the widow of Carlyle Brown. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Winkler of Boston; three sisters, Mrs. Wallace Weaver of Boston and Mrs. Annie King and Mrs. Virgie Johnston, both of Washington, D. C.; two brothers, Preston Butler of Riverdale, Md., and Brooke B u 11 e r of A rlington a n d a granddaughter, Katheryn Winkler of Boston. Mrs. Brown was a native of Culpeper County, daughter of the late Charlie Butler and Mary Agnes Settle Butler. She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church of Boston. Pallbearers were William Johnston, Leonard Butler, Francis Butler, William Butler, Robert Hawkins, Howard Hackley, J. B. Burke and Edmond Burke.
