Lddie Cratt was master ot ceremonies for the program and Kenneth Craft and David Thornhill were redcaps. Ushers were Jackie Baldwin and Bill Stokes and travelers were Jean Payne and Eddie Williams.
The travelers went “Across the U.S.A. with Us Today”, visiting in many places and enjoying activities of various areas. All dances, skits, and acts were appropriately costumed.
All of the 215 pupils who took part in the program had had all necessary dental corrections made to qualify as five pointers. Most of thi6 dental work was done through the Rappahannock County Dental Clinic which was made possible by state aid and by contributions from a private foundation in addition to P.T.A.’s and other civic organizations.
Rifle Match Saturday At Chester Gap
A Rifle Match sponsored by the Chester Gap Fire Department will be held Saturday night, May 11 at Tp.m Prizes will be hams, turkeys, bacon, etc. Only open sights will be used. Proceeds from the event will go to the equipment fund.
Rev. Carder To Speak at
Forest Grove Church
The Rev. Harold Carder of Culpeper will be the guest speaker at Forest Grove Baptist Church for the II am. worship service on Sunday, May 12.
