Mrs. Dorothy Louise Johns ton Pierce, 56, wife of the ate Charles Garnett Pierce of Boston, Va. died Friday May 3, 1968 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late John Joseph Johnston and Mrs. Della Histle Johnston of Culpeper. Mrs. Pierce had been employed by J. J. Newaerry and Co. in Culpeper for more than 20 years. Besides her mother, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Russell Deane- and a brother Joseph Jackson Johnston of Boston, two nieces and two nephews. A graveside funera 1 service ivas held Sunday at Fairview Cemetery with her pastor the Rev. John H. McKay, officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Edmund Burke, Joe Hawkins, William Johnston, Charlie Johnston, Leroy Johnston, Walter Johnston, Jr., Rus sell F„ Deane and Harold Haw kins.
