Elementary School PTA
To Meet Tuesday
The Rappahannock County Elementary School Parent-Teacher Association will meet at the school auditorium on ruesday, November 26. Hie meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. ind guest speakers will be Superintendent of Schools O. A. Norton and Chairman of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors J. Newbill Miller, llieir topic will be How Schools ire Financed. Hie public is cordially invited o attend.
Accepts Pastorate
Hie Rev. John Gabbert has iccepted the pastorate of the Saptist churches at Jeffersonton ind Forest Grove, and will issume his duties in 30 days. Mrs. Jabbert and their four children vill remain in Richmond until the ind of the school year.
Hike Scheduled Sunday
A hike is scheduled for Sunday, November 24, weather ermitting. Anyone who is [iterested in hiking may meet at he Sperryville school yard at 1 on. Plans are to hike up lawksbill. Dress according to the reather and wear comfortable 1 hoes. Forest Warden Raymond ohnson will direct operations.
