Soc. Security Notes

The social security amendments of 1967 have made many changes and improvements in the medicare program according to Mrs. Hazel F. Daly, social security District Manager in Winchester, Va. One important change, Mrs. Daly stated, is that more people will be eligible for hospital insurance benefits. Under the old law, people who reached 65 in 1968, and were not entitled to monthly social security or railroad retirement benefits, could not get hospital insurance benefits unless they had 6
