Panther Tales

Saturday ten delegates from the SCA attended the Shenandoah Valley District SCA meeting at Strasburg High School.
Group pictures for the annual were taken Monday, November 18. All the groups must have been in good shape because the photographer’s camera wasn’t broken.
Senior students Carter Moffett, Janet Hackley, Steve Dement, and Wayne Deal submitted to the School Board Tuesday, November 10 proposals for places to go on the Senior trip.
Carter Moffett, Beth O’Bannon, Janet Hackley, Terry Russell, Mr. Wingfield and Mr. Neff will attend the final District III, Region IV of Virginia 1970 White House Conference on Children and Youth. It will be held Friday, November 22 at Eastern Mennonite College at Harrisonburg.
After the break from school because of snow most of the students were ready to return. It seems there wasn’t any electricity to run the television or the telephone.
A warning to all students who plan to ride the pep bus to Elkton! You had better sign up early or all the seats may be gone.
