3 Traffic Crashes

Tliree people sustained injuries in a single-car crash Saturday night on Route 522 a mile and a half south of Huntly. TTie vehicle was a total loss after striking a utility pole and overturning twice, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin who investigated. Robert Lynwood Sealock, 27, of Falls Church and a former resident of Chester Gap, was operating a 61 Corvair. He lost control of the vehicle, ran off the left side of the highway, knocked down a utility pole and turned over twice. He sustained lacerations of the head and face and injured left shoulder. He was treated at Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal and released. Charles Midkiff, 21, of Front Royal received lacerations of the head, eye and hand. He was taken to Warren Hospital and transferred to Winchester Memorial. Russell Cameron, 21, also of Front Royal sustained abrasions of the back and was treated at Front Royal and released.
Flint Hill Rescue Squad transported the crash victims to the hospital.
Sealock was charged with reckless driving.
Another single-vehicle crash occurred on Route 637 north of AmissviUe Sunday night and was investigated by Trooper R. M. Dodson.
Fred Douglas Johnson of Amissville, operating a 65 Chevrolet pickup, ran off the right of the road, struck a fence, veered back across to the left of the road and struck a tree. The truck damage was estimated at $300.
Johnson was not injured but his daughter, Amanda Lee Johnson, riding with him, sustained lacerations of the forehead. She was taken to Fauquier Hospital. Johnson Was charged with reckless driving.
Two vehicles collided on Route 612, Old Hollow Road, early Monday morning. Dudley Pullen of Woodville operating a 49 CJievrolet pickup, was struck by a 64 Chevrolet operated by Raymond tester Smoot of Sperryville. According to Trooper Ilodson, Smoot came over a hill in the middle of the road and struck Pullen head-on.
There were no injuries and damage was estimated at $200 to the Pullen vehicle and $75 to Smoots. Smoot was charged with failing to keep to the right of the center of the road.
