Thursday is official rhanksgiving Day. Yes, that is the jurpose of the day, to give .hanks. Most of us think of it as ;urkey day, and that is well as far is it goes.
It is good to gather ’round the groanin’ board with friends and just ‘dig in’. Heap the plate high with hot buttered biscuits, cranberry sauce, turkey and dressing (make mine white meat, please), giblet gravy, peas and iced tea. Coffee? Yes, it is over there in the percolator. “Yes, thank you, I think I can handle a small wedge of pumpkin pie.” Ummmm, thank the Lord and bless the cook.”
