Orange Nut Bread
1 loaf
1 tablespoon grated
orange rind
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup milk 3 cups sifted enriched
self-rising flour 1 cup sugar '4 cup shortening 1 cup chopped nuts Sift together Mum- and sugar into mixing bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in nuts and orange rind, l’.lcnd together eggs and milk. Add liguid all at once to Hour mixture, stirring only until Hour is moistened. Turn into greased f>1 j x O'^-inch loaf pan. Hake in preheated oven b() to (10 minutes, or until rake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
