^ The double ring ceremony was ' performed by the Rev. Preston J. Taylor, Associate Minister of First Baptist Church at 6:30 o’clock in the Chapel of the church. The bride, who was given in marriage by her father wore a teal blue peau de soie street length gown covered with white lace and fashioned with long lace sleeves and white kid gloves and matching peau de soie shoes. Her illusion veil fell from a matching peau de soie cabbage rose. She carried a lace covered prayer book centered with a white orchid. Honor attendants were Mrs. Phyllis B. Shiry and Mrs. John H.
