Bible School Continues

Bible at the Amissville Baptist Church continues through this week and will be concluded Sunday morning with a Children’s Day service at 11 am. ar^d commencement. Following this, a covered dish picnic will be held in the church yard with all Bible School, Sunday School and church members invited to attend.

Joint Bible School

Vacation Bible School starts Monday, June 30 at the Washington Baptist Church with registration at 8:45 a.m. This joint project of the Baptist, Episcopal and Methodist Churches will continue each day, Monday through Friday for two weeks from 9 to 11 a.m. Children ages 4 through 11 are invited. The Rev. William M. Hargett will act as Director.

Charged With Murder

Paul Jackson Foster, 38, of Manassas Park has been charged with the murder of Joseph Deavers of Rileyville. The murder occurred in Bentonville, Warren County Sunday afternoon, "and according to authorities, Deavers was shot several times. Foster has been charged with the shooting and has been released from Warren County jail on $10,000 bond.
